2010 "Starfish and Dreams" gala

In June 2009, our first annual “Starfish and Dreams” gala event was successfully launched. Over 600 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of song, dance and great food. The evening featured performances by the Cleo Parker Robinson dancers accompanied by Arc Thrift employees with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities. .

The event raised significant funds through ticket/table purchases, live and silent auctions and donations for our Mission, for which we grateful to all of our sponsors. The event also honored our “Heroes of the Year”, three outstanding employees who made extraordinary contributions to Arc Thrift during 2009.

We will look forward to an annual “Starfish and Dreams” Celebration, with future dates posted on the website.
